Tamarind Chutney & Green Chutney

Hello my foodie friends. Hope you all are enjoying the transition from Winter to Spring. Now the time has come when we can relish all the summer coolers and drinks which we were not able to do till now. We can also relish on chaat and bhel puris but keeping the hygiene factor in mind.

If you're too conscious about health then you can still enjoy the chaat and bhel puris by making them at home. In that way your inner self will be satisfied that whatever you feed your family is 100% homemade and hygenic. One of the important ingredients while making any kind of chaat is chutney.

You can make this chutney in advance if you have any party at home and you're planning to make chaat as an appetizer.

In this post I’ll be sharing 2 types of chutneys Tamarind Chutney and Green Chutney which can be used as an accompaniment with many street foods and also as a side dish.

So without wasting any time let’s jump right into recipe.

Dahi Vada

The taste of Indian street food is so addictive that it's irresistible. It leaves your taste buds tingling even after the dish is finished. The spicy and tangy flavor of the food always ask you for "Thoda Aur"(little more). Dahi Vada or Dahi Bhalla is an Indian Chaat (snack) to be more precise a North Indian street food but now its taste has spread in the entire world and can be found easily in many Indian restaurants around the globe.

Dahi Vada is deep fried lentil dumplings made from Urad daal (split black gram), soaked in beaten yogurt and topped with flavored chutneys, spices and garnished with Sev or Boondi. It is making me drool even when I'm writing this post. It's taste is just inexplicable. So, without any further ado I'm sharing it's recipe:
