Pizza McPuff.......McDonald's Style

We all love to eat outside at restaurants, food joints, food court, etc but amid the current situation, it is not possible to do so. Especially the kids at our home they just love to eat at KFC, Domino's, McDonald's and Subway. You might be thinking I always favor eating clean and at home but there should be some cheat days when we can relish our favorite food at our favorite restaurants with our loved ones. This not only gives us immense happiness but it's a way to spend some quality time with our family.

As we all are aware of the current situation eating outside is not possible and I think delivering the food at doorstep has its own risk too. Now, the question is what to do to satisfy the cravings of our kiddos who demand fast foods like Pizza, Burger, and all those food items available at their favorite restaurants.

I would suggest you do some research and please them with your creativity. Try to replicate their favorite food available at their favorite restaurants and I'm sure they will love your efforts and relish the food prepared by you. So, to ease your problem I'm starting a series where I'll post some fast food recipes. I have already shared some recipes like:
Today's recipe is McDonald's style Pizza McPuff. This is one of their best-selling food items which is equally enjoyed by both kiddos and adults. My 3 yr old loves to have to when we eat at McDonald's. I have tried to recreate this recipe and trust me it tastes awesome. So, without any further ado let's begin with the recipe:

Ingredients:

1. All-Purpose Flour: 1 cup
2. Baking Powder: 1 tsp
3. Oil: 2 tbsp
4. Salt: to taste

1. Veggies (onion, carrot, beans, capsicum, sweet corn): as required
2. Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp
3. Black Pepper Powder: 1 tsp
4. Chilli Flakes: 1 tsp
5. Pizza Seasoning: 1 tsp
6. Pizza Sauce: 1 tbsp
7. Tomato Ketchup: 1 tbsp
8. Red Chilli Sauce: 1 tsp
9. Salt: to taste
10. Cheese: 2 slices
11. Oil: for frying

Method:

1. In a bowl add all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, and oil. Mix everything well until it gets breadcrumbs like texture.

2. Add water little at a time and knead a smooth dough.

3. Once done cover and allow it to rest for 10 mins.

4. For making stuffing add the ginger-garlic paste in a pan and cook it on low flame until the raw flavor is gone.

5. Add the veggies one by one.

6. Once done add black pepper powder, salt, chili flakes, pizza seasoning, pizza sauce, tomato ketchup, and red chili sauce. Mix everything well.

7. Add the cheese slices and switch off the flame. The cheese will melt with the heat of the stuffing.

8. Take the dough and knead it once again. Divide it into equal portions.

9. Take a portion and roll it into a paratha. Keep in mind the paratha should not be too thick nor too thin.

10. Cut off the edges to form a rectangle shape paratha.

11. Cut the paratha from the middle to form two equal size rectangular paratha.

12. Place the stuffing and apply water on the edges. Place the other layer and seal the edges properly.

13. Using a fork make marks on the edges.

14. Heat oil on low-medium heat and fry the McPuffs until they turn golden brown in color.

15. Once done take them out on a plate. Serve the McDonald's style Veg Pizza Puff with tomato ketchup or with any other dipping sauce. Enjoy!!
