Crispy Baked Buffalo Chicken Wings.....The Healthier

Who doesn't love Chicken Wings. They are crispy, spicy and full of flavors. When you lick those flavorful wings there is a burst of flavors in your mouth.

But every good thing has a bad side too and if you ask me about these Chicken Wings then I would say the calorie part. So, I decided to recreate this recipe but this time in a healthier manner.
I decided to bake these chicken wings instead of frying them. I have used minimal oil here just to brush the wings and later on in the sauce. So we don't have to worry about the calorie part.

Buffalo Chicken Wings require minimal effort to cook just add in all the ingredients and  pop these wings in the oven. Prepare the sauce and coat these wings and you're sorted.

Traditionally these wings are served with ranch, blue cheese and a side of carrots and celery. But; I like to enjoy them as it is and feel the burst of flavors while having them.

So, without any further ado let's jump right into the recipe:

Ingredients:

For the marinate:

1. Chicken Wings: 15-16
2. Red Chilli Powder: 1/2 tsp
3. Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp
4. Salt to taste
5. Oil for brushing

For the sauce:

1. Chilli Garlic Sauce: 1 tbsp
2. Tomato Ketchup: 1 tbsp
3. Hot wing Sauce: 4 tbsp
4. Soy Sauce (optional): 1/2 tbsp
5. Butter: 1 cube
6. Oil: 5-6 tbsp

For serving:

1. Carrots(thinly sliced): 4-5 slices
2. Celery: 4-5 slices
3. Ranch

Method:

1. Clean and wash the chicken pieces thoroughly.

2. In a bowl take the wings and marinate it with the ingredients mentioned under "For the marinate". Mix well and keep it aside for an hour or so.

3. Preheat the microwave at 450 degrees fahrenheit.

4. Take a baking tray and line it with an aluminium foil. Brush oil on the tray.

5. When you're ready to bake the chicken wings coat the chicken wings with corn flour and coat them nicely. Brush them with little bit of oil. Place them in a baking tray and bake them fo 40 minutes. Flip them in between.

6. In another bowl take all the ingredients mentioned under "For the sauce" and mix well with 1/4 cup of water.

7. Place a pan on medium heat and add oil and then add butter. When the butter melts add the sauce mixture and let it simmer for a minute.

8. Now it's time to add the chicken wings and coat them nicely with the sauce mixture.

9. Take the chicken wings on the serving plate and serve it with the dipping of your choice and a side of carrots and celery.

10. Enjoy!!!
