Singapore Style Black Pepper Chicken

Hello Foodies, Hope you'll are doing great and feasting your favorite dishes during this time of the year.

Today I'm back with one of the most loved recipes of the Chinese or I must say Asian cuisine and i.e. Singapore Style Black Pepper Chicken. It's hot, it's spicy and completely irresistible. If you love spicy food then I'm sure you'll love this recipe too.

Since, this recipe is on the spicier side I would recommended you to adjust the spiciness according to your taste buds. So, without any further ado let's get started:

Ingredients:

1. Chicken (cut into thin strips): 1 lb
2. Capsicum (cut into small cubes): 1/2 cup
3. Onions (cut into small cubes): 1/2 cup
4. Garlic (finely chopped): 3-4 cloves
5. Green Chilies: 2-3
6. Red Chilies: 2-3
7. Black Pepper Powder: 1 tbsp
8. Soy Sauce: 1 1/2 tsp
9. Red Chili Sauce: 1/2 tsp
10. Oyster Sauce: 1/2 tsp
11. Chili-Garlic Sauce: 1/2 tsp
12. Red Chili Powder: 1/2 tsp
13. Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tsp
14. Cilantro: for garnishing
15. Salt: as per taste

Method:

1. In a bowl add the chicken pieces and marinate it with salt, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste and black pepper powder.

2. In a separate bowl add all the sauces and mix it nicely.

3. Add this sauce mixture into the chicken bowl and coat all the chicken pieces nicely. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

4. Heat oil in a pan and add the minced garlic and the dry red chilies. When the garlic starts changing color add the chicken pieces and fry them nicely for 7-8 minutes or until the chicken becomes soft.

5. As you can see water coming out of the chicken let it dry on medium heat.

6. Now it's time to add the cubed onions and capsicums and toss them lightly. Don't fry them too much as they will lose their crunchiness.

7. After 1-2 minutes of frying our hot and spicy Singapore Style Black Pepper Chicken is ready to serve.

8. Take a serving plate and serve the chicken in it. Garnish it with some coriander leaves and green chilies.

9. At last one final step sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds if you like that nuttiness in your chinese dishes. This extra step will take the dish to the next level.

10. Enjoy!!
