Butter Garlic Shrimp/ Prawns


            

Hello Foodies.....hope you'll are doing great. One combination which always go hand in hand is Butter and Garlic; it's assumed that their match is made in heaven. 

Any recipe which calls for Butter add a clove of garlic to it and that dish will go a notch up; and into this combination if you add Shrimp/Prawns toh in our desi language we call it "Sone Pe Suhaga".
As you all know that we have taken a step forward and moved our blog to YouTube so going forward you can watch our videos on YouTube. Since we are budding YouTubers so you can find few of our recipes from the blog there but slowly and gradually we'll try to add all the recipes including the new ones. Just give us some time.

Coming on to today's recipe i.e. the Butter Garlic Shrimp is a very simple recipe and just need few minutes to cook and believe me it's a complete crowd pleasing appetizer. So let's jump right into the recipe:


Ingredients:


1. Shrimps (Prawns) : 10-15 (shelled & deveined)
2. Garlic Cloves (minced): 7-8
4. Sweet Red Chili Sauce: 1 tbsp
3. Red Chili Flakes: 1 tsp 5. Lemon Juice: 1/2 lemon
8. Salt: to taste
6. Butter: 2 tbsp 7. Coriander Leaves: handful FOR DIPPING SAUCE:
1. Mayonnaise: 2 tbsp 2. Sweet Red Chili Sauce: 1 tbsp
3. Spring Onions: for garnishing (optional)

Method:

1. Clean the shrimps as shown in the video and wash them nicely.
2. In a mixing bowl take the shrimps, add salt as per your taste, minced garlic, sweet red chili sauce, red chili flakes and finely chopped coriander leaves.

3. Mix all the ingredients nicely and let the shrimp marinate for 15-20 mins.

4. Place a pan on medium heat and butter. Let it melt and then add the prawns one-by-one.

5. Let them cook for 1-2 mins on one side and then flip them . Again cook them for a minute or so. Do not overcook the shrimps as they will turn chewy.
6. Take out the Butter Garlic Shrimp on a serving plate and garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves. 7. In a bowl take mayonnaise and sweet red chili sauce and mix well. 8. Garnish it with some spring onions.

9. Serve the dipping sauce with Butter Garlic Shrimp.
