Tamarind Chutney & Green Chutney

              

Hello my foodie friends. Hope you all are enjoying the transition from Winter to Spring. Now the time has come when we can relish all the summer coolers and drinks which we were not able to do till now. We can also relish on chaat and bhel puris but keeping the hygiene factor in mind.

If you're too conscious about health then you can still enjoy the chaat and bhel puris by making them at home. In that way your inner self will be satisfied that whatever you feed your family is 100% homemade and hygenic. One of the important ingredients while making any kind of chaat is chutney.



You can make this chutney in advance if you have any party at home and you're planning to make chaat as an appetizer.

In this post I’ll be sharing 2 types of chutneys Tamarind Chutney and Green Chutney which can be used as an accompaniment with many street foods and also as a side dish.

Ilish Bhapa in Frying Pan


               

We Bengalis go mad over this fish, and we call it Ilish which is also known as Hilsa.....nobody else in the world can understand a Bengali's love for Ilish.

llish Bhapa is one of the signature Bengali dishes which can be enjoyed with steamed white rice. Today we’ll make Sorse Ilish or Hilsa in Mustard Sauce Gravy. It's a very easy peasy recipe and the fish retains its flavor because of the very few ingredients are used to cook this delectable dish. Just mustard seeds paste, coconut milk, salt, turmeric and you're done. 


I have already shared a recipe of how to cook Ilish Bhapa in microwave. You can check the recipe here,but this time we'll make this dish in frying pan. Either way you cook this dish taste awesome. 


I have used coconut milk here instead of grated coconut you because that gives a smooth texture of this dish without comprising upon the taste. You can use whatever you like. So, let's start with the recipe:

Crispy Baked Buffalo Chicken Wings.....The Healthier


             

Who doesn't love Chicken Wings. They are crispy, spicy and full of flavors. When you lick those flavorful wings there is a burst of flavors in your mouth.

But every good thing has a bad side too and if you ask me about these Chicken Wings then I would say the calorie part. So, I decided to recreate this recipe but this time in a healthier manner. 
I decided to bake these chicken wings instead of frying them. I have used minimal oil here just to brush the wings and later on in the sauce. So we don't have to worry about the calorie part.

Buffalo Chicken Wings require minimal effort to cook just add in all the ingredients and  pop these wings in the oven. Prepare the sauce and coat these wings and you're sorted. 


Traditionally these wings are served with ranch, blue cheese and a side of carrots and celery. But; I like to enjoy them as it is and feel the burst of flavors while having them.
